Hello,

Is there any requirement for the inductor connected to the DCDC_SW pin on CC1310?

My customers are considering picking the inductor connected to DCDC_SW on CC1310.
On the reference design, I think MLZ2012N6R8LT000 is used.
They want to know whether the following inductor meets the specification.

For CC26xx we have tested with 0603 size inductor and TDK MLZ1608N100L (6.8 uH) gave the same result as using 0805. For the CC13xx we have not done the same measurements so we have no experience with using 0603 vs 0805.

We know that not all inductors give optimum performance in terms of current consumption and spurious emission. To verify if the 0603 inductor can be used the customer needs to measure current consumption and spurious emission.

Only size evaluated is 0805.
