Making SimpliciTI communications more reliable

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SIMPLICITI, CC1350, CC1310

Hi team,

We had a customer ask:  Can you provide link to any discussions or application notes of how to make SimpliciTI protocol communications more reliable, perhaps something like OSI Layer 2 sliding window ARQ?

Do you happen to have anything on that?

Thanks in advance,

Billy

  • BillyO,

We are no longer developing new features or enhancements to the SimpliciTI stack. My only recommendation if the customer is not currently using SimpliciTI in products, to consider switching to the TI-15.4STACK designed for the CC1310/CC1350. However if they are in production with SimpliciTI my best recommendation is move to a better transceiver. In the final version (1.2.1) of SimpliciTI we enabled support for the CC112x line of transceiver and they are extremely good and will help the customer create a very reliable network.

Here is link the final release (e2e.ti.com/.../207308)
