CC1310: Modifying the component values to optimize CC1310 performance at 408.925MHz

Hi everyone,

I follow the CC1310-433 EMK ref design but the component value may need to be slightly changed to optimize the performance at 408.925MHz.

Which tool or documentation should I use to find/work out the correct values?

  • Hi Kien,

The component values at 409 MHz should not need to be tweeked since this is quite close to the standard 433 MHz design.

However, if you want to test values more suited for specifically 409 MHz, then change the capacitors (C11 & C22) in the balun from 8.2 pF to 9.1 pF.

For the LPF network, The capacitors C12 & C14 can be increased from 4.7 pF to 5.1 pF and C13 from 12 pF to 13/15 pF for better harmonic attenuation.

Have not tested these values so this is just an indication.

Recommend to test the standard 433 MHz ref design values first before changing any values since this might not be need.

    Regards,
    Richard
