Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi,

When migrated one of the old code to new ccsv7 and rtos versions I am getting the following error.Could you please guide what went wrong?

Description Resource Path Location Type
fatal error #35: #error directive: The package 'ti.sysbios.knl' is not compatible with XDCtools used in this build. Please rebuild the package with XDCtools 3.50 or later. .xdchelp

  • Hi,

I confirm the error that you see. But,

    • XDCTools 3.50.1.12 exists, but it is not (any longer?) available for public download. I don't know the reason, it might have been recalled.
    • TI-RTOS 2.21 was published during the time of XDC 3.32.01.22. Please download and use that version instead. Extract it to the ti folder and in CCS, click on Window -> Preferences -> Producs -> Install.

However, the error message that you see, is misleading. If have reported that as a bug.

  • Hi Richard,
So you are not recommending to use XDC3.50.1.12 but to proceed with XDC3.32.01.22. Right..?
But unfortunately still the errors are there...

  • Hi,

I've verified that the combination  CCS 7.0.0, XDCTools 3.32.01.22, TI-RTOS 2.21 works. Are you sure that you set the correct version for XDCTools in your project?
