CC1200: Can we get the certification letter which can be published by TI?

Part Number: CC1200

Dear Sir,

I'm developing the wireless modem and using CC1200.

Our modems and CC1200 transceiver on the board must be compliant with 802.15.4g PHY layer.

As you can see, we find the "compliant with 802.15.4g" on the CC1200 datasheet.

But, this takes no effect.

Our buyer want to get the cerification letter published from Wi-SUN alliance.

Can you give me the ceritification letter, if available?

Or, can you have the ceritifcation letter or test report which has been gotten from 3'rd part laboratory not Wi-SUN alliance?

(This test report means that CC1200 is compliant with 802.15.4g PHY layer)

Best and Regards,

Kwangbog HAM.

  • This link cover what we have: e2e.ti.com/.../504018
  • Dear Sir,

    Thank you for your support.

Your certification had already been uploaded, but there is any information about chip name (for example, CC1200).

Could you send me the proof document that CC1200 is included in this certification?

Or, could we get the document from TI that CC1200 has been compliant with 802.15.4g?

    Best & Regards,

    Kwangbog HAM

  • The CC1200 has hardware support for 802.15.4g.

A chip in it self can never be verified as compliant to any standard since the performance will be dependent on the software (and which settings the software upload to the chip) and the PCB (a PCB with poor layout will have poor RF performance and will more likely fail).

It doesn't look like we have a document showing that the product covered in the certificate I linked to contains CC1200. On the other hand the certificate state that TI is included and at the time CC1200 was our only product with 802.15.4g hardware support.
