CC1350: Pulse counter in Sensor Controller Studio

Hello,

We were looking for the pulse counter library in the latest sensor controller studio 1.4 and could not find it.

Has it been added? If not what release will have it?

We would like to use the sensor controller (CC1350) with a LMT01, if the pulse counter is not available can someone 

recommend a method to interface this device with the sensor controller?

Hi John,

I cut your post off the old thread and merged it into this thread as it is obviously about the same. I have also assigned our Sensor Controller expert to come back you with the latest update on pulse counting.

There is not any pulse counter implementation in version 1.4.0 of SCS. We are investigating if something can be implemented.

We are continuing to try and find a workable solution with the TI LMT01. At this point we are abandoning the sensor controller for the main

controller. We are open to any suggestions you have.

Hi Eirik,

We have a few questions about comparator A in the 1350.

1. Do you have an example of how the main controller can access comparator A? We have not been successful in our attempts and there is not alot of information 

about how to do this.

2. Can you tell us how to change the Sensor controllers clock? We would like to operate the sensor controller at maximum speed.

1. Do you mean how to control it from the CM3? If so please post a new thread with the question on this forum.
2. In active mode, AUX runs on the high-frequency system clock (SCLK_HF) divided down by a factor of 2 giving a clock speed of 24 MHz. This is set up by default and is the maximum possible.

Great. We are also making an implementation for sensor controller studio 1.4.1 using the TDC prescaler. There will be some limitations. The details will be available upon release.
