LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Changing components in CC1310 version 1.4 for 433MHz

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1310
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310

Hi everybody,

We are a group of students that are using CC1310 launchpad for covering a point-to-point  433 MHz communication between a high balloon and our ground base station. Thing is that we assumed that we had to change some components in order to work under this frequency, and we found the schematic I've attached here.

However, if I'm reading it right, it's updated until CC1310 1.2 version: we are using CC1310 1.4 and, so far, I've also read that it already supports 433MHz. The question is: are the changes specified in the schematic correct for our  CC1310 1.4 and therefore should we change the components according to what it says?

Thank you for your time!

  • The schematic you refer to is for a CC1310 evaluation module (EM). This schematic (or BOM) can be used on the CC1310 launchpad to make a 433 MHz design. Please note that the PCB antenna will have poor efficiency @433 MHz so I suggest you use an SMA whip antenna.
