CC1310: 433Mhz Support

I am tring to configure the part to a 433 frequency band using Smart RF Studio and getting a warning message that this frequency is not yet characterized. Is there any plan to support this frequency band in the near future? (in the release not of revision B you say that 433 is now supported however I am not sure if I can really use it).

Unfortunately this not answering my question. I already read this. My question relates to the message below I am getting while configuring the frequency to 433 using smartRF Studio (I am using version 2.6.0 which is the latest and the rev B device): My question is when is such characterization is expected, and if I will ignore this message should I expect major issues.

Sorry, I think I misread your question with regards to which version you had.

Could you post how you SmartRF Studio window looks like before you press enter and get this error massage? (Include the full window to show which version of the chip)

As this shows, you have a rev A of CC1310 connected which doesn't fully support 433 MHz.

I am really confused now. I purchased the SimpleLink DK from TI. When upgraded to the latest SmartRF studio version I received a message that the device is no longer supported and I should contact TI.

I contacted TI and they sent me new set of boards - with these new boards I am not getting this error message as before so I assumed it installed with the new device version. Should I request to replace these new boards as well?

If I understand you correctly you have bought CC1310EMs? Since we mainly sell Launchpads for evaluation it could be that the EMs we have in stock were produced before we had rev B. My understanding is that a launchpad should use rev B.
Note that an unmodified EM/ launchpad will not give good performance on 433 MHz. Are you planning to modify the board?

Also note that 433 MHz may also work for rev A but we can't guarantee that it does.

Yes, I am using the CC1310EM. I assume that as TI sent me new boards than the revision will be B if not I don't understand what is the difference from the old board I had. I am going to develop my own PCB and I will test the 433 on my board. I hope that if I order components I will get rev B (or maybe it's already rev C now).
