CC1350STK: CC1350STK BLE beacon or generic 2.4GHz transmitter

Part Number: CC1350STK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650STK, CC2650

I'd like to use the SensorTag CC1350STK (or CC2650STK) to generically transmit 2.4GHz RF power to test attenuation and range while operating on battery.  That is, without the having to deal with BLE connection timeouts and reconnections, that I then need to go press a button to re-start the advertisements and connection, etc.

Without having to write code, is there a simple way to program the CC1350STK (or CC2650) to generically transmit 2.4GHz (or BLE beacon) to operate battery powered?

e.g. using the phone app or devkit software.  I can get the SensorTag to beacon rapidly or Tx CW like I want when connected to the CC-DevPak via USB and control of the SmartRF Studio PC application.  But, I'd like it to run on its coin cell not tethered to USB.
