RTOS/CC1310: Why isn't there *.cfg file in the example project of rfEasyLinkTx_CC1310_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs in CCSv7.10 and SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK v1.30.00.06?

Part Number: CC1310

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi everyone,

Why isn't  there *.cfg file in the example project of rfEasyLinkTx_CC1310_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs in CCSv7.10 and SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK v1.30.00.06?

The config operation in *.cfg file (old version) ,  how do I come true in the new version?

      Best Regards,

      Gilbert

  • We now offer two ways to have TI-RTOS configured.

One is the standard way of having the .cfg file in the project .

The other way (which is used often in the new SimpleLink SDKs) is to have the application project be dependent upon the kernel project. You'll notice a tirtos_builds_<board>_release_<compiler> project was automatically imported into CCS (or IAR) when the example project was imported. This allows for the kernel configuration to be shared by different applications. The SimpleLink User Guide goes into detail on how to manage this project (e.g. use a different configuration, make a new, etc.).
