Hi all,

I would like to evaluate rf performance and modes of operation of the cc1350.

I would like to use the cc1350 launchpad and the smartRF studio tool for that purpose.

Is there any supporting user guides in the matter? I could only find: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru194b/swru194b.pdf and it doesn't seem to apply to cc1350.

Specifically, I have not succeeded on activating expert mode on the 1350cc, the option dosen't seem to appear.

You can download/install SmartRF Studio 7 and find user guide from help

Does that mean you are unable to get the following when using SmartRF Studio? Not sure what you mean by "not succeeded on activating expert mode"

In the PDF file "RF_Studio 7.pdf"

on page 6 it is written about Expert Mode (see first Figure below)

The second figure is zoom on the SmartRFStudio screen in the explanation PDF file on page 6 with an arrow to show the Expert Mode option.

The third figure, is a snapshot of our SmartRF Studio, and it does not have the option for Expert Mode.

How can we configure the smart RF studio to work on Expert mode in order to get to the fine tuning settings and more flexibility?

For CC1101/ CC1120/ CC1200 we had a Easy Mode and a Expert Mode. For CC1310/ CC1350 we don't have a Easy Mode so what you see is the Expert Mode.
