CCS/CC1310: Unknown Error in Collector - Sensor example.

Hi all,

I have worked for several months with collector - sensor example which is recommended for 15.4 stack. Yesterday I install new 15.4 stack. After that I programmed two launch pads with the example [Sensor & Collector]. It Built fine, Debug Fine, Program the LPs without any problem. But when I run the example while opening two UART ports [Sensor & Collector]. It shows the normal operations.

Only problem was two indication LEDs which in LP used for [Collector - Permission ON/OFF & Data transfer, Sensor - Connection with coordinator & Data transfer] indications not indicating any thing. In the collector Terminal [It shows the everything but when I presses button to permission it didn't even show it in UART and no LED indication as expalined above]. I tried the Basic example without any  change.

I did the same with another laptop without installing new stack. It works fine. Any help?

    I was not able to duplicate the issue. I've just run the 15.4 Stack Sensor and Collector examples from the Resource Explorer with no changes and they both work as intended. Have you gone through Project Zero? It might give some more insight on how the example works.
    In Code Composer Studio, click View and open the Resource Explorer, then click Software > SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK > SimpleLink Academy > Labs > TI-15.4 Stack > Sensor and Collector - TI-15.4 Stack Project Zero.

    Hi smkanvinde,

    I also doubt it was due to the New stack. I uninstall it and tried the example again with previous stack version[erased both LPs, open a new workspace, import example program, debugged without any change to the program]. But the result was same. I'm confused.

    I'm working with this example for about 2months. It was all fine. But now it compiled,debugged and downloaded to the launchpad without any trouble as usual. It works fine. the only thing missing is permission on/off does not show in the collector UART terminal and two LEDs in both collector and sensor LP is not indicating anything.

    Anyway thanks for you reply. I will try project zero from explorer & will let you know how it went.

    I reinstall both ccs and SDK. I dont know what was the problem. It is a very weird problem. How ever now it is working fine. Thank you very much for the reply.

    The same happened for me. I downgraded to the previous SDK and was not able to get the network running, but using the latest release resolved the issue. Happy to help!
