LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Schematic Verification

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1310
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310

The schematic as shown on TI (www.ti.com/.../launchxl-cc1310 Documents) provided under the design files, on the "CC1310 RF" page of the schematic, it shows the resistor R12 as a 1.8pF capacitor.  Is it supposed to be a capacitor or a resistor?

  • The BOM file will always contain the most accurate information about what type of component that is used.

C24, R12 and C58 are for antenna matching and when drawing the schematic the first time it's not known if these components needs to be a L, C or R. Hence the name of the component could in some cases not seem logical compared to the value. In those cases, look at the value and not the name and double check with the BOM file.
