With SmartRF Studio the radio is always in RX. Look at the examples in the SDK if you need wake on radio.

SmartRF Studio either controls a board to be in TX or RX (one way communication) hence it doesn't do re-transmissions or ACKs.

SmartRF Studio controls the phy part, what you ask about is typically part of a protocol and has to be implemented in software.
