CC1350: design reference with skywork 65364-21

I would like to use the CC1350 to design with Skywork 65364-21 FEM to establish two ways RF communication between our devices. I found a reference design on TI forum for CC1120 and skywork 65313.

I wonder if I was to replace these two component with the one I respectively selected, what are the design specification I need to look out for and change ? The reference design says that I can change to skywork 65364-11 without any changes to other component.

Both Skyworks FEMs can be used here. The LNA and PA in the 65313 is slightly better than 65364 but both FEMs can be used. I presume the 65364 is a cost-down version of 65313.

Nevertheless, Our system use CC1350, which is a different MCU than CC1120, with slightly different pinout. Is there any modification on the balun compare to the CC1120 design?

If you are planning to use SKY65364-21 with CC1350 then the best configuration would be to configure CC1350 as single-ended; i.e. designate RF_P as Rx and RF_N as Tx. Then the interface to the SKY FEM is simplified.

For the Single-ended configuration, 868/915 MHz, the passives in the sub 1-GHz path in the CC1350 SensorTag design can be used. For the Tx path, add a SAW filter between the CC1350 and the SKY FEM, especially if you are targeting 30 dBm output.
