Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310, CC1350, UNIFLASH, CC1350STK

HI

I am trying to use

SimpleLink™ Sub-1 GHz Sensor to Cloud Gateway Reference Design for TI-RTOS Systems tidc-01002

I have followed the tutorial as mentioned.but when I am launching the blue mix  url I am not not able to see the open option under network for DEVICE

  • Hi I saw this and checked .My default configuration is set to TLS optional. The problem is when I launch the app ,the the security option gives option for "open" for a second and again becomes blank. The network mode is always showing not started

  • Same here, please respond TI.

  • Hi,

It sounds like there might be an issue with the communication between the CC3220 and the CC13x0 coprocessor.

Could you answer the questions below so I can help you solve your problem.

If you press the reset button on the CC13x0 launchpad do you see both red and green LEDs blink and also do you see debug information come up on the terminal?

Are you using the coprocessor_cc13xx_lp.hex file provided in the TI-Design to flash the coprocessor launchpad?

Are you using CC1350 or CC1310 as the coprocessor?

    Regards,
    Hector

  • Hi Hector,

Thanks for your follow up. I redo the coprocessor image to 1350 launchpad and now it all connected.

However I am using 1350 sensortag instead of 1350 launchpad as sensor node, in which I loaded your prebuilt \ CC1350_SensorTag \ sensor_cc1350stk_915mhz.hex. As there is no cc1350 sensortag in uniflash list, I selected cc1350F128 to do the work, is that correct? I only see temperature, illuminance and humidity + fan on the IBM web portal,  where all other sensor data go, does sensortag need extra development work to reveal all its capabilities? And these sensor data only appeared for a while, and seems can't hold the connection with the coprocessor, I lost the sensor connection now.

Also I find the configuration web portal in 3220sf is extremely slow, although with some patients the page will load.

    Thanks,

    Yang
