CC1310: Support up to 4Mbps?

Genius 5355 points
Part Number: CC1310

Hi Support,

Does this device support up to 4Mbps data rate (HS mode) now?

If yes, at which operating frequency?

In addition, please advise which type of FCC approval for Sub GHz at 4Mbps?

Thanks.

  • HSM (4 Mbps) is supported in the 868 and 915 MHz bands. Settings are provided in rfPacketErrorRate example in the simplelink_cc13x0_sdk_1_50_00_08.
Wideband digital modulation under FCC 15.247
Requirements: Minimum 6 dB BW of 500 kHz and maximum power spectral density of 8 dBm/Hz

  • Hi Siri,

So does the 4Mbps only target FCC 15.247?

Understand that CE sub GHz has very narrow bandwidth requirement.

Thus it is difficult to have same scheme across CE, FCC and Telec. Correct?

    Thanks.

  • You can also do wideband modulation under EN300 220. Similar to FCC there is a power spectral density (PSD) requirement, but note that FCC specifies PSD in 3 kHz band and ETSI specifies 100 kHz.
