PM - I suppose I made the assumption that this unit is FCC certified, if it is, what is the corresponding FCC ID for this part?

Hi,

No, it was not certified by FCC.

As per FCC rules, no need to Certify EVMs, if they used for Evaluation Purpose only. That's why we put the following note on our LPs and EVMs.

"NOT FCC APPROVED FOR RESALE. FOR EVALUATION ONLY"

A chip is not certified, you have to certify a product since the radio performance will be a product of both hardware (including antenna and casing) and the software running on the device.

Hi Mike,

While we do not officially certify our EVMs for FCC we do comprehensive internal testing, including radiated measurements, to ensure we are within regulatory limits.
