CC1200: Reference design with range extender CC1190

I am planning to use the CC1190 range extender with the CC1200 transceiver. I wasn't able to find a reference design that had both CC1190 and CC1200.

It would be great if someone could provide the required information or point me in the direction from where I could get the required design.

Any help would really appreciated.

Thanks. I am designing the CC1200-CC1190 for both 868MHz and 915MHz. There will be separate channels for 868MHz and 915MHz.

On the links given above I found a two reference designs. I noticed some component differences between

www.ti.com/.../CC1120-CC1190EM868RD / www.ti.com/.../CC1120-CC1190EM915RD

AND

www.ti.com/.../boostxl-cc1120-90

Is there also any performance difference between the two designs? Could any of them be used?

You have to have two seperate designs for operation on 869 MHz and 915 MHz.

This is because the ETSI and FCC requirements are fairly different when it comes to how much the harmonics have to be attenuated to pass a certification. Also the saw filter is different in the designs.

You are correct about 915 and 869MHz and the components differences between them. I actually wanted to know that since there are some differences between 915MHz versions of

would there be any difference in performance of the two 915MHz designs. Also the same question is regarding the 869MHz designs .

The boosterpack is designed for Sigfox in mind and has a attenuation between the PA output and the IPC. As the schematic notes state these resistors could be omitted using a non sigfox design. The CC1190 part looks the same for the two designs.

Using a IPC will probably give you slightly lower link budget compared to using a LC network.
