CC1312R: Comparison chart between CC1312R; Network Processor firmware for same

Part Number: CC1312R
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1125, CC1310, CC1200, CC1190,

Hello,

Is there a simple comparison chart between CC1310 & CC1312? I haven't heard much about the radio - is it the same between them or does the CC1312 have better performance for narrowband applications (like CC1125, CC1200)?

Also, is there an AT-command interface Network Processor firmware for the CC1312, like you had for the CC1310? (see this link)

Finally, will the CC1312 be easier to connect to the CC1190 (or other PA/LNA)? The CC1310+CC1190 design was a mess.

Thanks,

Derek

  • Hi Derek,

The CC1312R can be configured for lower RX BW than the CC1310. Note that the CC1312R is currently in pre-release state, for supported performance numbers refer to the datasheet. This will also be gradually updated throughout the year.

For SW features, the same apply. I suggest you review the SDK content.

Both the CC1310 and CC1312R can easily connect to the CC1190. Why do you say CC1310-CC1190 was a mess?

    Cheers,
    Fredrik
