CC1350: Asynchronous Rx mode

Hi,

Is asynchronous Rx mode (like the one present in cc1101 to support legacy devices) available in cc1350 in sub-1 GHz band?

What is your use case since you are looking for asynchronous mode? You can do it on CC1310 (see the cont. RX tab in SmartRF Studio) but since the radio is not designed for it the performance will be limited.

We need to upgrade our products which are already running on cc1101. We need BLE in our new design and it should also be backward compactible with the legacy ones already in the market.

The ones in the market has the following specs: OOK, 40kbps, no sync word, 4 bit preamble

To ask a bit differently: Why did you use asynchronous mode on the CC1101? Is it a packet format without preamble/ sync?
