CC1190 one matching circuit for 868 & 915 MHz.

For 868 MHz and 915 MHz operation it is not possible to have a  common BOM. The SAW filter has to be specific for 868 MHz or 915 MHz operation. A common PCB can be used with different BOM.

This is good observation, too. But I am not concerned with the input matching, I only care about the output matching.

Please note that the 868 MHz design posted earlier was a preliminary version. There will be changes to this design and the plan is to release the CC1101+CC1190 869 MHz reference design, optimized for +20 dBm output power, in November.

There will be a CC1101+CC1190 915 MHz reference design, optimized for +26 dBm output power, in Q1 2011 (target is January).

Not sure what you mean by input matching, but if this is the components between CC1101 and CC1190, then they are important for stability reason. In particular there will be impedance matching components between the SAW filter and the CC1190. Using non-optimum values will lead to oscillations in TX. 

We will be using CC1120/5 with CC1190 in our design. Therefore, input matching to the PA will be different. I know input is important too for the stability.

Do you see same output components in furture design for 868 and 915 MHz frequencies?

We designed the circuit but never built or tested. I am sure if you contact local TI rep, they may get you a better answer from their Scandinavian design facility.

All answers in this thread provided from TI employees are given by Oslo based engineers.

Evgeniy, the CPA and CSA files in the reference design zip files are CADSTAR PCB and schematic archive files that can be used or you can open the pcb and scm files with cadstar.
