I saw the thread below.

In the above article, Siri told to modify the copy and include it in the project

I am using ccs IDE / cc1310 sdk.

How do I set the use Local files and exclude SDK file? Can you explain detail?

And I saw the following article.

shaowei said he was successful with "IOCIOPortPullSet(CC1310_LAUNCHXL_UART_RX, IOC_IOPULL_UP);".

Is there any problem using one of the two methods for "RX PULL_UP"?

Hi Kim,

Using the local copy is simply a matter of adding the modified UARTCC26XX.c file to your project. This will override the driver library version at link time.

You could probably use the second approach but I would not be surprised if you end up with and undefined behavior in some cases as the driver are not aware of the setting and may -re-configure the pins again at another time. I would go with the approach recommended by Siri which will assure the UART driver "knows" you want the pull-up enabled.
