My kit runs good on other computers. But in my computer, the COM3 is always showing "Agere Systems HDA Modem(COM3)" in the eZ430-RF2500 Sensor Monitor. Any way, the temperature didn't show up in "eZ430-RF2500 Sensor Monitor" in my computer.
At first, I think it's the problem of the port. So I got into the "device manager". I changed the port "MSP430 Application UART(COM3)" from COM3 to COM5. After that, the eZ430-RF2500 Sensor Monitor shows the "MSP430 Application UART(COM5)" in the setting menu. But the "Agere Systems HDA Modem(COM3)" is still in there too. I choosed the "MSP430 Application UART(COM5)" in the setting menu. But when I click "connect", the temperature is still not shown up. Then I checked the settings menu again, the Port is still showing "Agere Systems HDA Modem(COM3)". It is crazy that no matter how many times I set ,the Port still jumped back to "Agere Systems HDA Modem(COM3)" secretly. I also tried to check the "Disable Animatio". It still doesn't work.
So I canceled the "Agere Systems HDA Modem(COM3)" in the "device manager". After that, when I click "connect" in the Sensor Monitor, an error occured showing that "unable to open com port".
I also tried to change the port like COM4, COM6, COM7. I got the same result.
I want to say that again, the same stuff works well on other computers.
Can anyone help me about this?
