After programming the host_test_cc1350lp_app I get the following message when trying to communicate with the cc1350 board.

Please advise.

What version of the CC1350 SDK are you using? What version of Btool are you using when you see this error?

Can you try using the host test application and btool available in the newer version of the SimpleLink CC1350 SDK v2.10?

I have installed the test host application in the latest version 2.20 .

it gave me the same problem.

Hi Ahmed,

I can confirm that I see this issue as well. Let me look into it.

As an aside, you can use another launchpad as your host_test if you want (cc2640r2 or cc2650 for instance) and run with the BTool provided in those SDKs and you should have the ability to use that in the time being.

Ahmed,

Please walk me through your steps.

The steps I follow for CC2650 are:
1) Find cc2650lp_host_test_rel.hex in C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_02_25\examples\hex
2) Use Flash Programmer to download cc2650lp_host_test_rel.hex to the CC2650 LaunchPad.
3) For assurance that I have given the device a fresh restart, i always unplug it from the usb cable and plug it back in (shouldn't be necessary, just a habit on my part).
4) Run BTool.exe from C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_02_25\tools\btool
5) Connect to it via the COM port that is titled "XDS110 Class Applciation/User UART" at 115200 baud.
