CC1120: FCC 15.247 Compliance

My customer is having difficulty achieving compliance with FCC 15.247. Their measured 6dB bandwidth is 183kHz, but they need a minimum 500kHz. What changes do they need to make with the CC1120 to achieve 6dB BW > 500kHz?

How are they going to receive a signal with 500 kHz 6 dB signal bandwidth?

Can you expand on this question a bit more? For 6dB BW I specifically mean: the total spectrum the power of which is higher than peak power minus 6dB. Hopefully my customer's problem can be resolved quickly. Constructive questions and responses are appreciated.

The max RX BW on CC1120 is 200 kHz. That is what I meant by how are they planning to receive a 500 kHz wide signal. In other words, to comply with 15.247 with CC1120 they need to use frequency hopping.

They can also switch to CC1200.

I suggest searching the forum for CC1120 + FCC 15.247, this topic has been covered before.

Much better response, TER. I've already sent customer links to posts suggesting FHSS as well as the CC1200. I wanted to exhaust all options. I'll continue the FHSS discussion offline.
