CC1200: The capacitance value connected to the DCPL pin on CC1200

Guru 16800 points
Part Number: CC1200

Hello,

Could you tell me the acceptable capacitance value connected to the DCPL pin (pin 6) on CC1200?
My customer cannot get the referenced value's capacitor (0.22uF), so they are considering changing the value.
However, the detail specification fot the pin is not described in the datasheet.

Best Regards,
Nomo

  • The DCPL pin is the decoupling pin for the internal LDO for the digital part of the CC1200. This has to be 0.22 uF. If the cap is larger the LDO could be unstable, smaller and too much ripple. The type and voltage spec of the cap is not that important but the values is.
  • Hello TER-san,

    Thank you for your reply.
If there is a feedback from my customers, I'll make another thread as a related question.

    Best Regards,
    Nomo
