CC1101: Can I replace the CC1101RTK with the CC1101RGPR without having to do firmware and or component upgrades?

Hi everyone,

We have used the part CC1101RTK and as this is discontinued we have been asked by our PCB manufacturer if they can use the part CC1101RGPR.

My question is, will this new part require a firmware update and or any other hardware changes due to the transmit power being almost double?

    You can use CC1101RGP without any changes to the PCB or the firmware.

    There is no difference in performance between CC1101RTK and CC1101RGP so don't understand your comment "... due to the transmit power being almost double?".
