CC1101: CC1101 RX Manchester

I have a CC1101 as a transmitter and a second CC1101 as a receiver. When I send a packet then it is received by the receiver correctly.

But when I enable manchester_en on both devices the data I receive is totally different.

Should the data I receive be the same as the data I send?

when yes, do I need to change more settings?

Yes, it should.

Please use SmartRF Studio to generate your settings and test them with Studio before implementing them into your own code.

I generated the register setting with SmartRF studio and when Manchester is enabled then the data is not the same anymore.
But now I know that the date must be the same so I will have a look if I did something wrong.

As long as you use Manchester mode on both Rx and TX you will read the same bytes from the RX FIFO as you wrote to the TX FIFO.
