CC1310: TI 15.4 stack ETSI EN 300 220 settings

Hi,

Our product is using CC1310 and 15.4 stack, based on collector and sensor examples. Now we are going to start ETSI testing.

In the config.h file, are the following settings correct or is there anything I have missed?

#define CONFIG_FH_ENABLE             true

#define CONFIG_PHY_ID                APIMAC_STD_ETSI_863_PHY_3

#define CERTIFICATION_TEST_MODE      true

#define CONFIG_TRANSMIT_POWER        14

We have passed FCC test with FHSS enabled. But I am not sure shall I enable FH for ETSI test as 15.4 stack for CC1310 support 34 channels in 868 band but EN 300 200 requires more than 47 hop channels.

Benson,

You do not need frequency hopping enabled in ETSI regions to be compliant. Our stack does the required "listen-before-talk" and therefore it will be compliant in the non-frequency hopping mode.

Sorry to jump in here, but it would still be ETSI compliant when FHSS is enabled? I assume you do not need to define your product as FH (in the report), just that it has frequency agility with LBT?

Yes, but do not declare the device as frequency hopping.
