CC1310: Differential output trace configuration

Part Number: CC1310

I’m working on a project using the CC1310 at 433 MHz. For technical reasons, the Balun circuity has to be physically separated from the chip output by a few tens of mm. I realise that this is far from ideal. What is the output impedance of the individual N and P ports and what trace impedances do you recommend for the two lines ?

If that solution is actually required I would simulate our reference design in ADS and simulate your layout in the same way and adjust the component values accordingly. But I'm not too sure if the result will be any good.

Could you describe (maybe with a mock-up layout showing the constraints) why you have to do it this way?

Would a IPC from Walsin help with the space constraints?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I can’t go into details due to client confidentiality, though an IPC may help. I looked for the Walsin IPC a few days back but couldn’t find anything that looked suitable on their site. Do you have a part number or a link to the Walsin page?

Thank you for the link. I've look again on Walsin's website and checked out a few of the distributors but I can't find any reference to the part number (RFBLN2520090YC3T1). I've also contacted Walsin, but as yet I have not received reply. Do you have any customers that have successfully sourced this part ? Is it possible that it's only available to certain OEMS ? Any help in getting hold of a data sheet etc. would be much appreciated.

As it is a customized part for TI CC1310, so they still hold to post onto web.
but anyway, it is MPed, sample is ready.
