CC1101: The recommended sync word settings on CC1101

Hello,

Could you tell me the recommended sync word settings on CC1101?
In case MDMCFG2.SYNC_MODE is 0x02 and SYNC0/SYNC1 is 0x0 with SmartRF Studio's default settings (in 868MHz), a receiver cannot receive any packet.

Start by using the default sync word (and sync length). On CC1101 we recommend a 4 byte long sync word. The sync word should have good auto correlation properties.

Btw, why have you set SYNC1 = SYNC0 = 0x00?

Hello TER-san,

They are trying to filter the received packet by the sync word (SYNC0/SYNC1) registers.
So, they evaluate several settings.

Sync word should never be used for filtering. Use address filtering instead.
