CC1350: RF Section Not Working On Our Design Custom Board

Hi,

we have designed our custom CC1350 board by reference from your CC1350 hardware design document. my custom board programmed successfully and also run LED blinking and UART program successfully.

but on our custom board design RF section is not working, The same code working in Development board.in case of RF.

for the RF section, we have used SUB 1 Ghz section with 433 Mhz frequency.

we have refer your CC1350 Design as it is.

so please suggest us how to debug this issue. and what will be the debugging steps for this RF.

Well, it depends on your board. You might want to experiment with SmartRF Studio to find out.

What do you mean by "not working"? Are you getting any power at all?

The first step is to make sure that all the values are correct. Do you have any 18nF where an 18 pF is supposed to be?

Use an ohmeter to see if everything ohms out correctly. Do you have any shorts to ground?

Finally, do you have a > 1 GHz scope available? You can use that (with a high-Z probe!) to make sure that the voltages at the various nodes make sense, or see where you lose signal.

If the cap array is incorrect, then this can be seen by measuring the frequency offset.
