Is it possible to kind of "toggle" the automatic gain control on and off?
I mean: it would be great if I could have my CC1101 do the following:
Calibrate the AGC while receiving preamble and sync word and set it to the signal strengths received during that time. Then I would like to set a register or something like that to fix that value (1 / 0 threshold) so that everything after that is treated with this specific threshold. If then, a pulse with double the amplitude of a regular "1" arrives, it will still be a 1 because it's above the threshold.
Currently, after the very high amplitude "1", it treats all the subsequent "1"s like zeroes and it needs quite a while (often until the end of my whole signal) to calibrate itself back down to recognise them as "high" signals again..
