CC1125: Usable Frequency Band

Only the frequency bands shown in the table can be used since this is set by the VCO tuning range.

Sorry, I didn't mean to reject the answer. That answer didn't solve my entire issue.

From the Equation 26 in CC1125 User Guide, and Table 4.5, VCO tuning range is calculated as 3280 MHz to 3840 MHz.  Is that a safe range or maximum allowable range of operation ?

1. What will happen if the VCO is tuned to a frequency outside this range ?
2. Is it possible to change the LO Divider to values other than ones specified in table 30 ?

My query is regarding the device performance in range of 400 to 410 MHz !

In the table 30, LO divider is listed with some discrete values. Other LO Divider values are listed as Not in use .  Are they reserved for future use ? 

Even though the register has some unused values does not mean that it exist other divider combinations that are not listed in the table. The frequency bands listed in the table is the only one available. If you want to operate in the 400 MHz - 410 MHz band, would you be able to use CC1310?

I was comparing the Sub-GHz chips from TI and in the table provided by TI it is specified that CC1201 supports my frequency band of interest.

I found the same in the CC1201 web page too. 

But, when I referred the Datasheet, there is a mismatch between the available frequency bands. Was that due to some errors ?

Does CC1201 really support the 359 - 439 MHz frequency band ?

The CC1201 datasheet is correct. It looks like when comparing the different chips that the wrong table is pulled. The synth/ VCO on CC1201 is based on CC112x and hence the range should be the same.

The doubt arouse because even the Parametric table in CC1201 web page specifies about a frequency band 359 - 439 MHz.

I have sent a mail to the web team so they can look into this. The data comparing chis should give the same data as the datasheets. Thanks for reporting this.
