CC1310: Coordinator Custom Board flashing issue

Hi,

I build 2 custom boards, one for the sensor(Is working fine now) and other to the coordinator.

The sensor board uses external regulator mode and the coordinator DC/DC converter mode.

In the coordinator board only welded the CC1310 schematic part. The board is detected by the SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 and can be programmed, but after programming the board stop working and if I try to program again the board give the following error:

To resolve this problem and can program the board again I need to do a Forced Mass Erase.

I supply the board from an external supply at 3.3V. The VDDR is at 1.66V.

If I change the board to use the external regulator mode works fine so the problem is in the internal DC/DC converter.

Hi,

In the code being used to program the device, what is the state of IOs? Have you measured the current consumption with external regulator and with DCDC enabled?

IOs used:

OUTPUT: DIO_4, DIO_5, DIO_6, DIO_7, DIO_8, DIO_9, DIO_10, DIO_11, DIO_12, DIO_23, DIO_24, DIO_27

INPUT: DIO_13, DIO_14, DIO_15, DIO_21, DIO_22

ADC: DIO_25

ADC Sensor Controller Studio: DIO_28, DIO_29

But I try with demo examples from the Resource Explorer and happens the same.

Current Consumption:

DCDC: 15mA

External regulator: 11.7mA

If I programme in the external regulator mode, switch to DC/DC mode and try to verify with readback and compare I get the following error:

Hi,

I am assuming that you have accounted for drive needed for LEDs in configuring the IOs. Do you have pull-up for reset pin (not seen in the schematic)?

How did you configure this board for external regulator mode?
