Hi,

I am working with TI cc1352P and cc1352R devices as collector and sensors. My collector is connected to linux processor using UART which is connected to cloud. How can i update my collector code. Also i had external flash.

What is the procedure for upgrading firmware in collector and sensor?

I suppose you can use serial boot loader which you can refer to www.ti.com/.../swra466a.pdf

Hi Yikai Chen,

I am studying www.ti.com/.../swra466a.pdf as you suggested. My custum board of collector is having UART interface with Linux Processor is with following pins

UART0 Rx- GPIO_22

UART0 Tx- GPIO_21

but in the document it is mention that those pins should be

UART0 Rx- GPIO_12

UART0 Tx- GPIO_13 and cannot be reconigured( Given in Technical reference manual of CC1352P page no 779)

Does this make any problem in upgrading firmware.

Hello Haricharan,

Have looked at our 15.4 Stack Linux Gateway example (www.ti.com/.../swru491a.pdf), and sensor to cloud example based off of the gateway example(www.ti.com/.../TIDEP0084).

More information on our 15.4Stack Linux Gateway SDK can be found here: www.ti.com/.../swru491a.pdf

It does everything you are trying to do and more. In here you will be able to see examples for OAD from collector to sensor devices and how to upgrade the images.

In regards to the pins used for UART on the boot loader side, there is nothing we can do to change the default pins.
