Hi,

I'm trying to use the 15.4 Stack power calculator, but when I open excel I get the following error:

Anyone else had this error? I have tested on 2 different PCs.

Can you describe your system?
What version of windows?
What version of excel?

Hi AB,

Don't understand the first question.

The system version is the Windows 10 64bits.

I try the excel 2013 and 2016.

Hello Renato,

This is weird, we have tried on multiple PCs(different OS versions and Excel versions also) here at the office and none of them had this problem.

Maybe the memory that your system allocates for excel is less than what the calculator needs?

Hi,

I experience the same issue on windows 10. I also tried both excel 2013 and 20016.

Hello Renato,

just tested on Windows 10 with Excel 2010 and it worked. Could it be an Excel problem?

Hello hugo,

I just downloaded on a Win 10 + Excel 2016 system, and it worked perfectly.

but since it is an overflow visual basic problem I think it is not an excel version problem. Can you see if you can:

1. close any programs running at the moment and just run excel and see if this helps.
2. update your visual basic, this could help also
3. are your excel versions also 64 bit?

Hi,

I tried in multiple PCs and all give the error '6' overflow. I think is some variable in the VBA code that is too small. Don't know if the variable data type storage size change from PC to PC. I try to see the code but is protected by a password.
