CC1310: TI 15.4 stack long range mode & normal mode switch

Hi Team,

Can TI 15.4 central device switch between long range mode & normal mode while in one network?

One of my customers kind have long range mode sensor device (lower data rate but needs longer distance) and normal range sensor device(higher data rate but does not need long range mode) in one network, so is it possible to configure the central device to be able to switch both modes and maintain the network?

    Hello Yan,

    After some conversations with R&D, I learned that no, we do not have this functionality from the out of the box examples.

    Although you can theoretically do this by killing the network and restarting with the new data rate in between the times that the devices are inactive, but it is not supported out of the box and will take some effort on the customer side.
