CC1310: The e-ink affects 433MHz seriously

Part Number: CC1310

Hi:

Our product is electronic shelf label, and we use the chip is CC1310, I find the  e-ink affects 433MHz  seriously, but 868/915MHz is OK.I'm sure the hardware is all right.,So I wonder what caused it?

  • - Does that mean you have tested the same tag with a 433 MHz antenna and a 868 Mhz antenna?
    - Could you chare how the antenna is placed in relation with the display?
    - Have you tested the performance @433 MHz without the display mounted?
  • - Does that mean you have tested the same tag with a 433 MHz antenna and a 868 Mhz antenna? --Yes,just the Rf matching is different
    - Could you chare how the antenna is placed in relation with the display? --The 868MHz antenna next to the display is ok, the 433MHz antenna needs 3cm away from the display,or the Packet Error Rate is serious.
    - Have you tested the performance @433 MHz without the display mounted?--Yes,the performance without the display is ok.
  • Can you do some tests to verify this issue?
  • To do tests we would have to have the same tag as you are using since the antenna performance is dependent on the ground plane, the display etc.
