Hi, I making a various types of examples with my CC1310 device. Now, I'm thinking of doing innovative things with my devices such as, using standby mode. In practice I would like to use a jumper, when I set that jumper to 1 the chip must go into standby mode. It's possible to do it? I see this post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz/f/156/p/524493/1908207 . It's correct?

this example only puts the PIN in standby mode. I would like to set the cc1310 chip in standby mode

Hi Mark,

Please follow the pinStandy example as suggested. This example will cycle the device between active and standby states. The CPU will toggle the LEDs each time it wakes up from standby, using the PIN driver, and then immediately return to standby.

Hi YiKai Chen, I found a your Pinshutdown example that you use a single pin for that you use a single button to power the device and shut it down. I tested that example using a Pin with a jumper instead of the button. When I put the jumper down with the microAmper, when I remove the jumper it does not rise and remains at 0. Why?

Can you elaborate what you mean tested that example using a Pin with a jumper instead of the button?

With a jumper I set the Pin to 1 or 0. If I put the jumper the device go in shutdown, if I take off the pin the device doesn't wake up and the Pin is low

Are you sure the jumper would make pin change status between 1 and 0?

If I put the jumper the first time the device goes into shutdown, but if I take it off it doesn't wake up. So it should work with the jumper

Try to connect the pin to 3v3 or GND instead of using jumper to see if it works.

I tried to measure the pin I set with the multimeter. Initially it is high, if I put the jumper it goes to 0 and then in shutdown, if I remove the jumper it goes to 1 but it doesn't wake up

Please do what I had suggest to connect the pin to VCC or GND. Don't use floating pin to test this.

When you use button, the pin will connect to VCC or GNG directly not floating to unknown status.
