CC1120: SEMTECH SX1276 FSK

Hello,

My customer is trying to make a system using SX1276 (SEMTECH) and CC1120. Please refer to the below link and let me know whether both system can be compatible and how to make system.

Qeustion

1. Can CC1120 transmit and receive data using FSK with SEMTECH SX1276?

2. Can CC1120 communicate with multi channel using FSK?

As long as the chips are set up using the same modulation format, datarate, deviation they should be able to communicate.

Is this an existing application that uses SX1276? If that is the case, what is the RF parameters?

Hi TER,

Thank you for your answer. There is existing system using 2 CC1120 for both Tx and Rx. And they are going to replace CC1120 (Tx) to SX1276 which is including LoRa feature.

In this scenario, CC1120 (Rx) need to communicate with several SX1276 (Tx). Could you please guide how to build this system?

You can find the info on datarates etc in the datasheet and userguide?

Yes, CC1120 can do frequency hopping, see www.ti.com/.../swra493.pdf as one example.
