Hi ,

we are are struck in the pre-compliance testing of our module which contains Texas Instruments Chipset CC1312R

we are in urgent need of the OCCUPIED CHANNEL WIDTH for the EU BAND 863-870 MHZ (ETSI EN 300 220 -1 and ETSI EN 300 220-2) the SUB 1 GHz modules , to proceed for further tests which are mentioned in the ETSI Document for CE certification the OCW value is required which in turn determines the RBW and VBW on the spectrum Analyser

OCW (operating channel width) is not the same as occupied bandwidth. OCW is user defined.

The definition of OCW is as below.

Based on the above, OCW cannot be user defined.

Hi,

As TER explained, OCW should be defined by the Equipment provider.

Please refer to the following Channel Spacing (Column 4) from EN300 220-1 in different applications in 863 MHz _ 870MHz band. Please refer to the EN300220-1 Standard for more info.

If you have only one channel you can use the above as OCW. As far as I have understand you use 4 channels meaning that you should set OCW equal to the channel spacing.
