LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: Latest silicon revision

Hi all!

In the last few days I asked TI how I could get the latest silicon revision of LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1. I was asked that buying on the TI store would have been enough. So I placed my order and a couple of days ago I got my two boards.

Now, I found that the CC1352 chips on the two boards I bought have indeed the latest silicon revision E. But the boards have silicon revision B, and on the launchpad website I can see that the latest silicon revision is D. So, did I get a "wrong" board or is there something I am missing?

Chip revision E is the correct version.

It's a bit difficult to understand what you mean. This sounds correct "Now, I found that the CC1352 chips on the two boards I bought have indeed the latest silicon revision E".

But what are you referring to here: "But the boards have silicon revision B, and on the launchpad website I can see that the latest silicon revision is D"? I assume you mean the PCB revision? And could you give me a link to where you found the reference to rev D?

Hi TER,

yes, sorry, I mean PCB revision. On the webpage (http://www.ti.com/tool/LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1) there are many references to Rev. D. I understand that they often refer to the document revision D, but I am not sure about it being a PCB revision as well.

So I would like to be sure I have the latest PCB revision (the PCB revision on the boards I got is B).

That's document version. The relevant document to look at is to open the "Design Files" and check the version on the schematic which is rev B.
