LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: Impedance matching routing for antenna

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1

Hello,

I would like to know if the 50 Ohm impedance matching routing is used in the evaluation board of CC1352.

Is it also fine if I have 0.25mm trace for routing in my layout and then a Pi network for impedance matching  for the antenna?

It there any recommended trace width for antenna routing?

Thanks in advance

  • As a role of thumb the trace length has to be more than 1/10*wavelength to be regarded as a transmission line. Since the trace on the LP is shorter than that the trace width is probably a bit random. But you can consider to go up to 0.3 mm - 0.36 mm to get lower resistance.
