Hi, I'd like to know how the channels of the 433MHz band are determined or calculated while using the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P1.

I was using the Smart RF Sniffer Agent v1.7.0 and noticed that the "IEEE 802.15.4g - GFSK 50Kbps - 433 MHz" is using a default 0.2 channel spacing and the central frequency for channel 0 is 433.3 MHz.

I could not find any references for this configuration on the IEEE 802.15.4-2015 specification.

Are there any documents you can recommend, or is this something that Texas Instruments has determined on their own?

Maybe it has to do with best performance and measurements like that. I would really like to know.

Hi,

The 433 MHz channels are set by national regulations. These vary slightly depending on the country.

For 433 MHz operation, you will need to use CC1352P-4 LPs. You can use P1 just for debugging but the filtering will be incorrect unless you change the components used in the front-end.
