Hi,

You can use Production Test Functionality and use Simple RF Testing with Unmodulated output. You can use Spectrum Analyzer for Tx Power measurement and Freq accuracy. For Freq accuracy test, set the Analyzer Span to 10KHz for better resolution.

Sorry for the delay, this regulatory test isn't critical to our timeline so I've been working on it sporadically.

I used Commander to run a TX test at 2450 MHz, 0 dBm, CW output. My spectrum analyzer showed a peak strength of about -36dBm for both eval boards. When I try to run the PER tests, I do see spikes when the boards attempt to transmit and receive on channels 1, 9, and 18, so the board does seem to be working properly.

Edit: The eval boards are both CC8531, with FW version 1.3. The bugfix field is set to 0

I have the two working boards placed next to each other. Is there any reason why the PER test would fail?

Would it be possible to do conductive tests between the boards? Just I want to see whether it is an external interference (WiFi or other 2.4GHz) or board issues.

You may need to use Attenuator in between the boards.

The evaluation board only has an F antenna, there isn't a coaxial connector to run conductive tests.

I've tried renaming the DUT debugger to "SLAVE" instead of "DUT", and for some reason it seems to make some of the production tests pass.
