CC1200 Upper Data Rate Limit

CC1200: Configuration for 1250 kbps data rate

Part Number: CC1200

 The user guide mentions 500 ksps as maximum symbol rate. This translates into 1 Mbps data rate for 4 GFSK. However, the data sheet mentions 1250 Mbps as maximum data rate. Does this mean 625 ksps symbol rate can  be configured? is there any other configuration required to achieve 1250 data rate?

    Hi,

    Yes, as per the data sheet, it should work up to 1250KBPS (625KSPS - 4-GFSK). If you have our EVMs, they you can try on our boards with SmartRF Studio.

    You can start with 500KSPS, 4-GFSK  under typical settings from SmartRF Studio and then modify Symbol rate to 625KSPS, it will show as invalid data and turn into yellow but you can ignore and continue and test the PER (packet error rate).

    In the mean time, I will try to get the info from a concerned engineer. I will get back to you ASAP. Please bear with us.
