CC1200DK: A SmartRF Transceiver Evaluation Board does not work

Hi Champs,

Our customer has recently purchased CC1200DK and has facing a problem.

Symptoms are as follows:

One of the SmartRF Transceiver Evaluation Board does not work in SmartRF Mode.
A PC does not recognize it though USB.
After an USB mode switch S1 on the board is changed from SmartRF Mode to UART mode, PC detects USB and the display on the board works fine.

With SmartRF Mode, LED D6(USB LED) ,which indicates USB operation, is ON.
Even though a daughter board is removed, LED is kept ON.

I believe that normally the LED is blinking (100msON-900msOFF) and No RF-IC is detected.

Let us clarify if there are nay check points.

Hi,

Is this happening on both boards or only one board?

Please refer to the following App note for proper settings on TrxEB board.

Hi PM,

Yes, only the board does not work properly.

On the other hand, the other one works OK.

Even though they are the same setting, the one board does not work .

Hi Hitoshi,

Could you please ask them to check the Voltages on Power Source selection Connector (Refer to Section 6.3 of the User Guide) and on Current measurement Jumpers (Refer to Section 6.12 of the User Guide) ?

I have checked the voltage and the power source selections.
The only one board does not work.

It is being treated locally.
