By the way, there is an example for Windows OS and the example can be downloaded from www.ti.com/.../swra466

The bootstrap is the code that runs after the power is on, and it points to the latest application in flash, which holds two applications

Serial bootloader cannot do this. I suggest you have to create your own application bootloader.
